1st shift 7:00am ~ 3:30pm* Mon-FriInterested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Ensures box lines are supplied to maintain steady flow of productivity.Ensures damaged product is taken to appropriate area for processing.Ensures labels are placed properly on merchandise in order to be scanned properlyRepairs or discards damaged containers.Assists in keeping trash lines free from jams including overhead jams.Washes dirty containers.Sorts, pushes and delivers used boxes and containers as needed.Stacks totes on pallets.Fills in and assists with stocking or order filling duties as time permits.Completes the daily PIT checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and reports any defects to management and/or maintenance.Operates PIT equipment in a safe manner.Follows set safety procedures and guidelines.Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environment within the Repack department.All other duties as assignedPosition RequirementsEducation:High School diploma (preferred)ExperienceFour to six months Retail Distribution Center or Warehouse Environment experience preferred.Physical Requirements :Able to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.These tasks require the ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 80 pounds.The Team Member should have adequate fitness level to meet the demands of frequent lifting, walking, standing, moderate climbing of stairs, occasional sitting, stooping and kneeling with or without reasonable accommodation.May be required to operate P.I.T. equipment.Team Member will be required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per Distribution Center requirements.Working Conditions:Team Member will work in a non-climate-controlled Distribution or Warehouse atmosphere, in which outside weather conditions greatly affect the building's temperature although fans and heaters are used.Team Member may also be exposed to or work in a restricted space, fumes and airborne particles as regulated by OSHA.AvailabilityTeam Member will perform shift work and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays. *Shift end time varies based off production and store needs.Family Dollar is an equal opportunity employer and committed to recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting qualified people of all backgrounds, and make all employment decisions without regard to any protected status. xhyhwjd We are committed to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.Full time500 Family Dollar Pkwy,Ashley,Indiana 46705-9778DC209Family Dollar
